New Background!

Mom made me a new background. Woo Hoo! She said I was being picking. Ever so often I'd come in the room and check on her progress. And if I didn't like something she was adding, I made her take it off. After a while she made me stay out of the room til she was finished. (giggles)
Hey it's my blog page that's all I have to say!

Basketball is Back!

It's time to start basketball practice again. I'm playing in the Upward league again this year. We started practices last week. My games will start in January.
So far Mom said my skills are improving.

The bad part is I have to take my glasses off to play so they don't break and so I don't get hurt. I hope I can still see the basket???

I'll let ya'll know when my games start and how I improve through the season. Keep checking back for updates.

Note from La Sha

I'm sorry I haven't been posting new updates about Peyton like I usually do. I'm going to try to get back in the habit of posting regularly. One reason is I use my scanner to scan a lot of his work and pictures and I don't have that hooked up here since I don't have the space.
On the other hand Monster Peyton has truly been living up to his nickname lately and I have some interesting stories to tell. Most of them I'll tell from Peyton's point of view but a few I may have to tell from mine.

Ski-Bobbin'

On our way from Ohio to Texas we stopped in Oklahoma at my Mom's friend's house. I got to meet her son, Holden. We became quick friends.

We went out on the lake, and went Ski-bobbin'. It was so much fun.

I can't wait to go back and play with Holden again.

INdoors Men

Nathan and I decided to take a camping trip. First Nathan and I had Dinner in the TENT. Hot Dogs and Cheetos.Did I mention that we're camping in my Living Room.

Mom got the TENT all set up for us.
We made sure we had all the necessities. Stuffed animals, Ninja Turtles action figures, Power Rangers, a couple a Soldiers, and of course fresh batteries for the XBOX controllers.
We played the XBOX all night from the safety of the TENT.
All that playing wore us out.
We didn't even end up in the same spots we started in.
With the sun brought Cereal and Cartoon Network!
I LOVE CAMPING!

Miniture Golfing

Mom and I went Miniture Golfing with my Friends Noah and Jordan.
I had a hard time keeping up with my strokes, so I just made up numbers. hehe!

Man, We should of rented Carts!
So close!
Boy, am I going to miss Noah when I move to Texas!

Now I Can Get a Car!

My Dad told me I had to learn to ride a bike without training wheels if I wanted to get a car when I'm older. Mission accomplished.
I've been practicing a little all summer. But I was having trouble getting started and I couldn't turn without falling over.
Those are no longer problems. Although I do have a new one. When I'm riding too fast and I think I'm going to run into something instead of using my pedal brakes, I panic and put my feet down to try and stop me. This results in me running into whatever it was I thought I was going to hit. I ran into Mom's car twice and the garage door 3 times.
With more practice I'll keep getting better. Maybe for my birthday I can get a bigger bike!

Spending Time with My BFF!

Mom took Nathan and I to see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. We got our popcorn and pops and we were ready to go.
The movie wasn't even started yet and Nathan and I were stuffing our faces. YUM!

WE LOVE THE MOVIES!

Nathan got to spend the night. That was the best part of our day, except he's kind of a BED HOG!
That's OK though, I'm sure going to miss Nathan when I move to Texas.

Wheeler Time

I got to spend the week with my Grandma. She taught me how to drive a 4-wheeler.

Although Grandma said I never watch where I'm going! (She said I get that from my Papa!)

My favorite part is racing someone else, but I need to learn to slow down to turn.

Someday I hope to have a Wheeler of my own!

Baseball Summer 2009

This is my First year playing baseball. I really like it. My batting is getting better and better each week. My fielding I could use a little help with. I can't wait to play again next year!

I'm so excited the Cavs are doing so good in the NBA Playoffs. I told my Mom if we move to Texas I'm still going to "VOTE" for The Indians, The Browns, The Cavs and "DaBron" James, and of course, Notre Dame GO IRISH! So watch out TEXAS I'm no fair weather fan!

Writing

My March Journal
by Peyton
We've been writing in Journals everyday at school. We mostly write about the weather or what we are doing that day. Sometime we draw in them. Here's an exsert from my March Journal.

School Work!

It's been a while since I've posted any of my school work. So I thought I'd choose a few things and show you what I've been up too at school.
I like playing my video games!

This is a picture I had to explain to my Mom several times and she still doesn't seem to understand. This is a picture of a "Mower" and the thing in his hand is what his used to mow the grass with. I'm not sure why my Mom can't grasp this idea?

I made this picture in Art class we learned to make swirls for the sheep's wool.

I made this picture in Art class too. We used scissors to cut the grass and I also decided it was time I needed a hair cut and cut my bangs on the same day. It wasn't that bad, nothing my stylist couldn't fix with a trim!

School's almost out and I can't wait til summer! Woo Hoo!

A Dad with a Cool Job has it's Perks!

My Dad works at the Railroad. So as a perk sometimes I get to go to the rail yard and look at the trains. I even got to go inside this Engine and sit in the Engineer's seat. It was awesome.
I look really small next to the train cars. When we go there they teach us about Railroad Safety.

I sure am lucky, there's a lot of little boys who would love the chance to see the Trains like I do.

Swoosh! Better Late Than Never!

Well my UPWARDS Basketball season is over. I'm so sad. I had a really awesome time and learned a lot about basketball.

I learned how to catch passes and rebounds!

I learned some defensive moves like swatting the ball away from the other team and

blocking shots and passes.

And in my last game of the season I finally made my first basket! My Mom was in the crowd going crazy. I was so happy, I practiced shooting a lot the day before and it paid off.

The best part about basketball is making new friends. This is my friend Noah!

My Mom even made new friends! This is Noah's little brother Jordan.

Thanks to Noah's Mom, Faith for all my awesome Basketball pictures since my Mom's camera wouldn't work in the church.

About Me

My photo
I'm just your average everyday 6 year old. I want to be just like my Mom and Dad. They watch TV, I watch TV. They read books, I read books. They start a blog page, of course I want my Mom to post all my school work on her page. So she gives me My Own Page. Are you other kids paying attention? See how that works! HeHe! Spend some time here with me and enjoy being a 6 year old again!
