BasketBall Games

My basketball games have finally started. I'm so excited. At the beginning of each game we get to run out of a tunnel lined with cheerleaders to really cool music and an announcer calls out our names. And the crowd goes wild. ( or at least my Mom does )

The first week we were green. I did really good on defense. So good that my Mom told me that I'm not suppose to play defense on my own team mates. OOPS!

Today we were the White team. I pretty much figured out that each week we switch colors. My Mom and coaches said I played 100% better this week than last week. I could tell, I got a lot more high fives. I really like basketball, the more I play the more confident I get.

I'm the tallest kid on my team. So my Dad said I should get alot of rebounds, but I'm a little afraid of the ball hitting me. So me and Mom and Dad have been practicing in our dining room this week. We moved the dining room table up against the wall and made ourselves a pretend basketball court. I think it's helping cause I caught all my passes this week and made a few rebounds with my eyes open!

We even have Cheerleaders! They entertain our parents when we have halftime!

(note from La Sha: sorry the picture quality is so bad. My camera doesn't take good pics in this gym! :(

Well this morning my Mom and I had a Wii date. I was suppose to teach her how to play Mario Kart. I got my Wii for Christmas and she still hasn't played it yet. So she promised me today she would. So after breakfast we sat down to play. Let me just tell you, SHE'S HORRIBLE! She couldn't stay on the track at all! After getting all frustrated and wanting to quit I talked her into playing my Nerf N-Strike game. Where we get to use real nerf guns with the Wii "RE-TROLERS" ( that's what I call them!) in them to shoot at the TV. You have to target practice and shoot robots and do puzzles. My Mom really liked this game!

Probably because she could actually beat her 5 year at a video game! But I still had fun with her, she will only play a few video games with me (LEGO Indiana Jones, & LEGO Star Wars) and it's nice that we have a new game to enjoy together.
I'll make a gamer out of her if it's the last thing I do!

Being Grateful!

For school one of my homework assignments is to write a thank you note to someone who gave me a gift. So my Mom asked me which gift I got that I would like to write a thank you note for. I asked her who got me Battleship? So here's my thank you note for the person who got me Battleship!

I even drew a jet on the page cause Nathan and I like jets!

About Me

My photo
I'm just your average everyday 6 year old. I want to be just like my Mom and Dad. They watch TV, I watch TV. They read books, I read books. They start a blog page, of course I want my Mom to post all my school work on her page. So she gives me My Own Page. Are you other kids paying attention? See how that works! HeHe! Spend some time here with me and enjoy being a 6 year old again!
